The phlebotomy Catch-22 is real: you need a job to get experience and experience to get the job. Your resume's entire job is to break that loop.
Count your draws

Lead with the cert and the numbers
- CPT (ASCP or NHA) next to your name
- Draw count and redraw rate if you have it
- Populations: pediatric, geriatric, difficult veins
Add the compliance words labs scan for
Specimen labeling, chain of custody, and order of draw are non-negotiable for labs. Naming them tells a hiring manager you won't cost them a re-collection.
